New Kith Drop - Best One Yet?

Flop or Cop? Let us break it down for you.

This recent collaboration between the two brands was most welcomed by the streetwear community and by ourselves. This is mostly due to the fact that Kith kept their offerings simple yet trendy in their latest instalment of offerings.

Let's break down the first hoodie of the drop which sees them collaborating with the New York Yankees. This collaboration was undertaken because the Yankees reached the MLB playoffs and as the most valuable team in the league it always helps to boost your reach by slapping the Yankee logo onto your product. This hoodie is nice on the basis of multiple factors. Firstly, the hoodie is white with stripes giving the appearance of an authentic MLB jersey while still maintaining the integral clean look that comes with most Kith clothes.

Another really beautiful addition to this week's Kith drop was their multiple T-Shirt designs. As you know, we here at Signatures Streetwear have a soft spot for wonderful T-Shirt designs and this week's drop certainly gave us plenty to admire.

The TieDie shirt that was released came in three colour-ways and all of them are definitely daring. By having the solid colour fade into a nice white it contrasts itself wonderfully creating a shirt worth the hype. This shirt along with all the other articles of clothing are all sold out meaning that their resell values will be much higher than their already expensive retail value. Despite this high price point for all these items, we still feel like each one we analyze is worth picking up if it catches your attention.

Moving along to the Kith apple logo shirt, we found this to be a refreshing change to the often monotonous line of T-shirts that Kith has in their arsenal. What we like about it so much is the fact that the logo is centered and is uniquely placed within the apple. This brings a new found element to Kith's drop and makes it stand out amongst the other articles of clothing that they released.

The final shirt we will break down is the monarch butterfly logo T-shirt in the white colour way. This is a mainstay on Kith's drop as they keep restocking this specific shirt as it is their most established logo design they have. This is a really nice design as it's simple and elegant as with most of the clothes that they release. The nature of the design allows for a clean look that can be appreciated by the masses which it obviously did seeing as there are none left.

Overall we give this drop an A+ rating seeing as every product available was a hit with the community as there are none left to purchase for retail. This week's drop was a clean and simple one which is always our favourite type over here on Signatures Streetwear.
