Has Supreme Fallen Off?

After being acquired for over 2 billion dollars, does the trendy fashion line continue to deliver extremely successful drops week in and week out?

It was a turbulent time when the news broke. Clothing brand phenomenon Supreme has been acquired via the same parent company as Vans and Timberlands. This was a shock to many in the fashion industry and it was especially interesting when uncovering who this corporation truly is when understanding what the Supreme brand is as a whole.

Due to extreme demand and its unique foundation, Supreme invented the business model of the modern clothing line that every aspiring designer continues to emulate. By creating a brand with a single statement and plastering it on hoodies crewnecks and T-shirts in limited quantities, Supreme was able to leverage its brand and create a "buy it now" mentality as stock is limited. The primary method of buying clothes before Supreme was going to the store and checking to see if what you want was in stock, and if it wasn't perhaps the store could order you a pair. Supreme took this dated approach to clothing shopping and turned it on its head which in turn made it the fashion superpower it is today.

After being purchased by VF Corp. Supreme continued to release weekly drops as usual, and it is safe to say they deliver.

LAMP

The first item that got some praise this week was their Bellhop Lamp. Supreme is known for releasing random household objects with their logo on it for a very large markup and it isn't a surprise to see them add the lamp to their line. This product is very simple in design but as you can see by the vast amount of likes it is safe to say the community approves of this item. Due to this high like to dislike ratio, it is very clear that this item will sell out in a matter of seconds due to people using bots to get them before anyone else. BALACLAVA

The next item we will take a look at is the Balaclava they released with stone island another big fashion label. As both Supreme and Stone Island are very high in demand brands, this product will sell out very fast and have one of the highest resell values of anything in this drop according to our sources. This is a very smart item to release now with the CoronaVirus pandemic causing havoc on the world this simultaneously prevents the spread of the virus while allowing the user to look very fashionable. Our opinion for this product would be to purchase it if you in need of a new mask but don't want to follow the rest of the crowd with basic options.

THERMAL PANTS

The next item we will take a second look at is the very cheap thermal pants that they are offering. This inexpensive drop is a perfect gift this upcoming holiday season for your brother that is hard to buy for. These will keep the wearer very warm and keep them fashionable if they are ever shown to the public!

The two colorways that they come in are their classic red and black. Either of these options is sure to put a smile on whoever is getting them's face. Our analysts rate this product a buy for the cool factor and the cheap price.

SHIRTS AND HOODIES

These simple BOGO tees are always guaranteed success for Supreme. The masses never fail to buy all the stock of shirts like this that clearly display the logo that they all love so dearly. This shirt comes in 5 distinct colorways which all look great. For more simplistic fashion styles, the black/white/navy tees would be perfect to uplift your wardrobe and make a statement at your next outing. The camo color shirt is a unique one and is most likely not going to sell out due to the lack of desire that comes with that pattern. When visiting the Supreme store you are unlikely to find any of these in stock which is why we recommend looking at Facebook streetwear groups to purchase these highly sought-after goods.

Overall this was a very good drop as to be expected from a brand that just cashed in for 2.1 billion dollars and wants to prove to its parent company that they are a good earner for their corporation. There was a clear surplus of good items that were dropped and it is nice to see Supreme living up to and setting new bars for the continuously growing dominant fashion label.
